Valorization of sport horses

équi-normandie valorisation équine

Valorization

With his experience in training horses and his performances up to CSI3*, Benjamin Grandjacques ensures the progression of your horses both in daily work and during competition. Whether your objective is the sale of your horse, the valorization of a horse you have produced or simply the pleasure of seeing your horse evolve and perform during beautiful events, we will willingly show you around our establishements and present our work methods.

After a period of familiarization and assessment, a customized program is developed for each horse according to its potential and your objectives.

Benjamin Grandjacques

Born in Rouen in June 1985, Benjamin spent his childhood at the Genetey horse club within the family business and started riding ponies at the age of 4. He made his debut in competition in the youth categories. During his Junior year, he won a bronze medal at the French Championship with the mare Faveur de Baussy. He then took part in the Young Riders events and the European Championship in Athens with the mare JOUVENCE DU LOUP from the family stud.

In 2007, he took part in national Pro1 and international 2 and 3 star competitions with numerous rankings including an 8th place in the French Criterium Pro1 Championship.

Benjamin obtained his monitorat in 2011 (BPJEPS) which allows him to train and supervise riders in competition. The same year, he qualifies 2 young 6 year old horses for the Grande Semaine de l'élevage of Fontainebleau and is ranked 14th in the French Championship for 6 year olds with RADCLIF. Contacted by the French Equestrian Federation, Benjamin is selected for the World Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken (Belgium).

Benjamin has surrounded himself with personalities of the sport to better understand his own discipline. Benjamin has worked regularly with Patrice Delaveau (World Vice-Champion 2010 in Lexington), Roger Yves Bost (2nd French rider and 18th in the world) and Florian Angot (Ranked at the Athens Olympics and World Championship in Aachen). During the 2011 show season, Benjamin joined the Bost stable in Barbizon (77), with the rider Roger-Yves Bost, accompanied by his horses ZENOVERA, ZERMAT, RAPHOE and RADCLIF to continue their progression and gain experience with this great rider.

During the 2012-2013 season, he obtained numerous rankings including a 3rd place at the Grand Prix 1m45 of Fontainebleau.

In 2013, Benjamin had 4 horses of age ready to go to prestigious shows: ZERMAT, ZENOVERA, RAPHOE DE FOXGLEN and RADCLIF DES IBIS. Mr. Pierson, owner of several horses, also entrusts CHAPTER ONE to him. After promising beginnings in the 1.30m classes, the horses progressed to the international 2* level, finishing 3rd in the 1m40 Grand Prix in Fontainebleau with ZERMATT and winning the 6-bar class at the CSI in Barbizon with CHAPTER ONE.

CHAPTER ONE, RADCLIF DES IBIS and RAPHOE DE FOXGLEN were sold in 2014 to French riders under whose saddle they continue their respective careers in competition.

In 2015, the Magloire Family entrusts Benjamin with the mare TENTATION DES PARTS and together they buy VALINE DE PREUILLY.

Benjamin obtains then many prizes in national and international events (TENTATION is ranked 6th of the 1m35 of the CSI*** of Oliva, VALINE finishes 6th of the Grand Prix of the 6 years in the CSI** of Fontainebleau and ZENOVERA is 5th of the Grand Prix 1m45 of Le Mans). ZENOVERA is sold at the end of 2015 to Rose de Balanda to enter the French Children's team (triple clear at Millstreet in Ireland). ZERMATT is now competing in CSI1* with one of our owners.

In 2016 and 2017, Benjamin obtained numerous rankings in national and international events with different horses. In particular, he is ranked 3rd in the Grand Prix 1m40 of Canteleu and 2nd in the CSI2* of Le Touquet with the very promising CAVIAR.

The year 2018 starts with several rankings in CSI*** with CAVIAR, VALINE and SURYA. CAVIAR is then sold to join the French Junior team with his new rider, SURYA and VALINE were exported abroad.

In 2019 and 2020, Benjamin will focus on training young horses including CANCASH DE BO Z (CONTENDER) a 7 year old gelding, GIOVANNI HDG DE WILL (FOR PLEASURE) a 5 year old gelding, GOTHAM HDG DE WILL (FOR PLEASURE) a 5 year old stallion, HASHTAG DU BUST (NERVOSO) a 4 year old gelding, and RIGO VAN DE LINEHOEVE (CICERO Z * HEARTBREAKER).

At the beginning of 2021, new very promising young horses will join the stud: HORZAIN DE BLONDEL (CANDY DE NANTUEL), an approved SF stallion available for breeding, as well as GASPAR MAIL (DIAMANT DE SEMILLY) and HENDAR MAIL (CONTENDRO) within the framework of a new collaboration with the MAIL stud.
